Welcome Bird Nerds!

I like birds. When I learned about the internet revival and about Neocities I felt inspired to make my own little corner of the internet to document this hobby that has changed my life. I've only been a bird nerd for about a year, and my lifer list contains only about a dozen birds, but ever since I downloaded Merlin by CornellLab and started identifying the birds in my back yard, I feel like my eyes have been opened to a beautiful world that was always there, but never fully appreciated. The pictures on this website are photos I've taken of birds in my life. For now I'm keeping every image 100px x 100px so I can keep the storage footprint low, but if you want to learn more about the birds I list here, check out CornellLab's AllAboutBirds page where they have much better quality images to browse.

In the birding community, a life list is a personal record of all the bird species a birder has observed in their lifetime. Check out my life list here.
